These existing Nelson Street Apartments has been recently re-clad on the Northern Elevation to enclose the existing balconies.
Resolution Arch was engaged to provide a design proposal for a full re-clad of the remaining elevations being the southern, western and eastern elevation on all 10 levels. This also included the Level 11 plantroom areas and replacement roofs. The proposed design solution was to reclad with an aluminium panel cladding with similar colour to the existing elevation and contrasting colours on the southern elevation to break up the expanse of this elevation.
Internally significant passive fire repairs, new mechanical stair pressurisation system and fire alarm upgrades were implemented.
